Pedestrian struck and killed crossing Seminole Boulevard

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to reports of a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle. The crash occurred shortly before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

According to troopers, an SUV was traveling northbound on Seminole Boulevard just south of 119th Avenue North

An 85 year-old male pedestrian from Largo walked into the path of the vehicle.

As a result, the SUV collided with the pedestrian.

Transported to a local hospital, the man later died from injuries suffered during the crash.


It has been almost 13 years since the inception of IONTB.
