According to investigators, at about 1:23 a.m. on March 17, 2019, a 21-year-old Seminole man was driving his 2018 Mazda 3 northbound on Starkey Road, just north of Park Boulevard.

Investigators say, for unknown reasons, 41-year-old David Cunningham of Seminole was crossing Starkey Road from east to west, when he was struck by the Mazda 3. Cunningham was not in a designated crosswalk.

Cunningham sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.
