St. Petersburg motorcyclist dead in crash on Park Boulevard at 84th Lane

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) continues to investigate a crash that occurred at approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of Park Boulevard at 84th Lane.

According to troopers, a 38 year-old male motorcyclist from St. Petersburg was operating a Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle at a high speed eastbound on Park Boulevard in the outside lane approaching 84th Lane North.

Motorcycle split in two following collision with pickup truck

The 38 year-old male driver of a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Park Boulevard in the left turn lane at 84th Lane North.  The driver of the truck turned left at the intersection and was struck by the motorcycle which separated into two pieces. 

The helmeted motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. 


It has been almost 13 years since the inception of IONTB.
