Emergency personnel were dispatched after a report of a vehicle crash involving a Pinellas County School bus and a Hyundai Santa Fe  at approximately at 1:23pm today.  The crash occurred at the intersection of 118th Avenue and 66th Street in the City of Pinellas Park.

The school bus was not transporting any children at the time of the crash.   The driver of the bus, however, suffered what appeared to be minor injuries.  One occupant of the Hyundai Santa Fe needed to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.  Pinellas Park Police Department described their injuries as non-life threatening.  Pinellas Park Fire and Police Departments were assisted by units from Seminole Fire Department, Largo Fire Rescue and Sunstar Ambulance.

The Pinellas Park Police Department will continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
