Police investigating after truck crashes into town home in Clearwater

Truck strikes a town-home off McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater

Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue are on scene of a pickup that crashed into a town home this evening.

The call came in at 8:48 p.m. from 1231 Abbey Crescent Lane, which is located near Ruth Eckerd Hall. The pickup crashed into the town home, causing significant damage to the structure.

The driver was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital for treatment.

A man inside the kitchen of the home and hit by debris declined medical transport.

Firefighters are on scene making sure the structure is safe.

It has been almost 13 years since the inception of IONTB.
